I stumbled upon this completely by accident. It was a super fun discovery.

I don’t know why this hotel decided to make a commercial based on the Backrooms/Obsession but this is my jam. Fun advertisements that make me think maybe the soulless corporation has someone in there that knows how to have fun.

Just like IKEA commissioning Bethesda to put a bookshelf companion into Skyrim that’s voiced by Matt Berry.

I don’t want to see AI bullshit. I don’t want to see shiny, happy people. I want to see things being advertised to me in dumb ways. Like those Lipton half and half iced tea ads where it’s a person drinking one of their drinks in front of a neutrally colored wall and they’re just like “eh, it’s okay”. Never drank it but I remember the ad.

I give Coro Hotel credit though for also highlighting that they throw massive LGTBQIA+ ragers in a different ad.
